So at the beginning of the year I planned on posting “school” stuff we do on a regular basis, but I only did one post and no more. I had grand plans and blah, blah, blah … oh well what you see is what you get.
Jenna making a pyramid out of sugar cubes. By the way it was a lot harder than I thought it would be to find sugar cubes at the store. Finished pyramid painted red.
Clay tablet with “cuneiform” writing.
Hoplite (Greek warrior) shields. These led to battling and fighting. I guess it was a good decision on my part to make the shields instead of one of the weapons!
Art project.
Here is the the kids’ mosaics they made. Westley’s is a boy with a shirt and two feet. I am pretty sure it is abstract?
The kids playing an Egyptian game we made.
Jenna with her Peter Rabbit in a watering can, which was mostly made by me because it was harder to make than it looked.
