Snow!!!

Last week it snowed here, a couple inches, and everything was closed which allowed Ben to be home and make a snowman with the kids!  Good thing too because I would not have done it.

In this first picture Ben in working on the snowman’s bottom.  Notice in the background the neighbor’s snowman.  Ben and Jenna just had to make a snowman bigger and better than their snowman.

Here are the kids enjoying the snow.  Jenna was adding snow to the snowman ball and Westley was just tracking through the snow making Ben made because he was ruining all the good snow.

The finished snowman.  It was sooo sunny that he only made it until 4 pm before he melted enough to fall over.  BUT that was longer than the neighbor’s snowman lasted!  Actually pretty much all the snow was gone by the end of the day.  It is Georgia, what else could we expect?

Happy 1st Birthday Charlotte!

  Last week we celebrated Charlotte’s birthday by having some cake and presents at home and then taking her to IHOP for dinner where she got her very own kids meal.  Charlotte’s cake was her favorite teddy bear.  She loves the bear; as soon as she sees it she relaxes.   The next pictures are of her opening her presents.  Of course she is eating the shoes because she loves to eat shoes.  ALL shoes, no matter how gross.

I do not even remember this part (although I am obviously taking the picture) but I am assuming Ben blew out the candle.  (I swear my memory went out the window when I started having kids.  Or maybe I never had one to begin with?)

Yummy that cake was good.  And yes, she is our first child to ever really eat her cake.  Jenna did not even touch it (she was really sick, granted Char was a little sick too),  Westley did not want to touch it at first, but eventually ate some, but Charlotte LOVED it.

So I turned around to check on Charlotte…

and this is what I found.

So, I think it is she is totally funny, but I am a little nervous.  I have never had a climber before.  Jenna was an angel, Westley did not really climb much (terrified of heights) just got into and stuck in everything.

She also LOVES to stand on the rocking chair lately.  And if you put part of it under the couch so it will not rock as much or fall on her (like in the first picture) she usually gets really mad.
