Christmas ‘05

We had a great Christmas at home this year.  I loved having just our little family together.  It was fun starting all of our own traditions.  And of course Jenna was much more fun this year since she was not a newborn. We all really enjoyed our new, comfy pajamas and I was excited that Ben got me a huge pack of gum.

 

Jenna's First Birthday

Poor Jenna was sick on her birthday and for her birthday party. She had not even eaten anything all day and felt horrible. She would not let anyone hold her and she did not even touch the cake. We did get her to open presents though.

Halloween

Jenna was a fairy butterfly for Halloween.  We did not do any trick or treating, but we did go to the ward party.

Short Trip

We took a short trip to Wyoming to visit Ben’s grandparents.  While we were there, Ben and his dad put in a new front path with pavers.  They did a very good job.  It was also nice for Jenna to see her Great Grandparents.

Sleeping

Looks like a super uncomfortable way to sleep to me, but I guess it works for her.

Reading

Jenna loves reading and books.  I hope this love continues throughout her life.

Wyoming Trip

We went on a trip to visit Ben’s grandparents in Wyoming.  Many of Ben’s aunts, uncles, and cousins were there too.  It was quite the fun trip.  Jenna was loved by many, especially Ben’s aunt Cathy.

While we were there our nephew was blessed.

We were also able to go camping for a couple of days.  Early one morning there was an elk in our camp.

And Jenna got her first taste of chocolate, in the form of an oreo cookie.

Sitting Up

Here are some pictures of Jenna sitting up.

She did not want her hat on and kept trying to rip it off.

She did not get it off and you can see that she was crying.  There are tears running down her cheeks.

First Solid Food

Jenna started eating food!  We started with rice cereal and she loved it.

Then a few weeks later I gave her some carrots.  She liked those too.

New Cousin

Jenna was able to go to the hospital and meet her new cousin Chase.  It is her first cousin since she was born.

Spring Pictures

Here are some recent pictures of Jenna, taken this spring.  She is a very good baby and is going big.  She is almost sitting up on her own now.

Jenna’s First Easter

Jenna had her first Easter.  Of course it was pretty simple, we really just took cute pictures, but it was still fun.

Cute Girl

Jenna has been a great baby.  She is so calm and a GREAT sleep.  She sleeps through the night and takes great naps.  I am very thankful because I really enjoy my sleep. Anyway, below are some cute pictures that we have taken in the last month, or so.

Jenna's Baby Blessing

Jenna was blessed by Ben at church this month and we were lucky enough to have a TON of family come and support us. After church we had a luncheon and below are the pictures. So happy to have great family members.
