Broken Leg

Yes, that's right our 8 month old has a broken leg! She is fine, just a hairline fracture and will only have to wear her cast for 3 weeks. Really she is just mad at the cast more than anything. For those wondering what happened, she fell off the bed and yes I was standing right there. (I do not know if that makes it better or worse!)

Painters Smock?

Why would anyone ever use a painters smock when you can just paint in your underwear with a backpack as an accessory? Those little smocks are cute and all but a waste of money because my kids do not want to wear them. Plus it would be really hard for Westley to paint himself if he had a smock on.

I Spy!

This game is a childhood favorite of Ben's where you hide a small object and everyone else finds it. His family played it all the time and loves that his kids finally can play!

Feeding Herself

So, each child has gotten more strong willed as we have gone along. Good thing we started with easy Jenna! Well, after Charlotte refused to let me spoon feed her I let her try feeding herself (I would have never let the other 2 do this). Here she is feeding herself sweet potatoes.

Cute Hair!

Well, after a few days of feeding herself she decided it was easier to have Mom feed her. She would not feed herself anything for a few days. Now we have reached a balance of the right amount of self-feeding and right textures. Things would be easier if she actually had some teeth to bite with.

Toga Boy

Westley has a new nickname ... Toga Boy! Why? because he is always wearing his shirt in toga-like fashion. I think if is a relaxation thing to him. As if sucking his thumb, always having his cars pillow, and putting his hand down his pants (not really down, just at the waistband) are not enough ways to self-sooth. The other day I put a long sleeve shirt on him and he was quite frustrated with it when he was trying to relax and watch his movie.

Jumping Charlotte

I just think she is so cute jumping!

Soccer!

Yes it is soccer season here and Jenna is having a great time ... at practice. Games are fun too, but they are not really her thing. She does not like everyone fighting over one ball. Yet at home she has NO problem stealing it from her family members.
