Lion King

Our dance studio always does a fun and exciting end of year production instead of a regular recital.  We really love the productions; it is one of the reasons we love our studio.  This year was Lion King and Charlotte was Little Nala. She did a great job remembering everything she had to do!

Westley and Jenna were both in the production too.  Westley was a meerkat in a tap dance piece and Jenna was a star in a ballet piece, a monkey in a tap piece, and a hyena in a jazz piece.  Charlotte was also a really cute ladybug in a tap piece and a butterfly in her ballet dance.

Jenna and Charlotte both also were named most improved for their age groups.

Sadly, I was busy helping and watching the day of the performance and forgot to take pictures.  We do have a video of the whole performance though.  Anyway, I do have one picture of Charlotte dressed up as Nala.

Crazy Soccer Time

All three kids played soccer this year.  It was a little crazier than I expected. Three games every Saturday and 3-4 practices a week made for a busy couple of months.  Overall they all had fun.

Westley improved this year, especially in his shooting ability. He scored a goal and his time one more than one game, which is an improvement from last year.

Jenna had a good year too.  There were many new girls on her team and they improved a ton over the season.

This was Charlotte's first year playing soccer.  She told us she liked practices more than games.  She also played goalie on her first game and did very well.  Only one goal scored against her at the last second.
