Piano Practice Contest

Westley's piano teacher had a piano practice contest. The student who practiced the most days over about a six month period won. Of course Westley loves contests, so it was a great motivator for him. Westley never missed a day of practice, so he won the contest.

Dance Recital 2019

I am very bad at taking pictures at the girls' dance recital every year. I usually don't get any pictures. Luckily this year one of the dad's took some amazing professional photos. Jenna only ended up in the background of the photos, but there were a couple of really great pictures of Charlotte. In the first one she is helping a younger class.

This is from her advanced tap dance. She started the dance off with a small solo.

Mud Run Fun

Westley participated in the mud run again this year. It is one of his favorite running events every year. He like the combo and obstacles and running. Next year he will be old enough to be in the competitive round, so we think we will let him try racing it.

Ironman

Ben spent about a year training for a local half Ironman. It is one of the hardest courses because of the many hills on the bike and run. He said he felt pretty good through the swim and bike, but the run was a little rough. We are very proud of him for competing and completing the race.

Soccer Champs

Ben coached Charlotte's soccer team this year and they had an undefeated season. Most of the girls were super aggressive and wanted to play only forward, which led to us having many goals. Charlotte played goalie and was never scored on. In fact, many games she only touched the ball once. They were a great group on girls and Charlotte really enjoyed the season. She was also happy to get a trophy for being the first place team.
