The Boy Who Won't Leave the Movies Alone

After trying to use a pillow, a diaper wipes container, books, and various toys, Westley dragged the rocking chair out of the bedroom and used it to reach the movies. So, I moved the movies off the middle shelf and switched them with the books that were in a locked cabinet.

The next day he tried to climb the shelves to reach the movies on the top shelf. As you can see, he got suck and started crying. Of course I took a picture before helping him get down. Now all the movies are in the locked cabinet.

Just a thought because we did this with Ty (the boy who wouldn't leave the DVD buttons alone) We went down to Lowe's and had them cut some plexi glass that fit over the openings of the tv stand and then bought a roll of velcro. We didn't let him watch how we put it on and the velcro was extra strength so he can't pull it off even if he figured out that it does come off. I'm sure there are other sticking methods you could try too. Anyway. It cost us a total of $10 and we have had no problems since. Good luck!
