Soccer and Baseball Seasons

So, I have no pictures of either soccer or baseball.  That may sound bad, but I like to believe that I am EXPERINCING life with my kids rather than WATCHING.  Really though we coached Jenna’s soccer, Westley’s baseball, and Charlotte’s baseball.  It made it pretty hard to get any pictures taken.
Both Jenna and Westley played soccer this year.  Westley practiced soccer a ton between last year and this year, and it showed. He has great ball control.  The only problem is that soccer is a TEAM sport and half his team did not really want to play.  Literally they would sit through half of practice.  So his team lost every game except their last one.  The last game was against another team who had also lost all of their games.  West practiced like crazy to be ready for the game and they were able to win.  It was great to end the season on a high.
Ben and I coached Jenna’s team again this year.  Jenna has improved SOO much.  Last year she stepped out of the way most of the time.  This year she was great.  She really was one of our best defenders and she even scored a goal this year while playing on offense.  The girls had a amazing season they were undefeated and won for the 2nd/3rd grade girls age group.  In fact, not only did no one score a single point against them, there were really maybe only a couple of shots on the goal the entire year.  After such a great season Jenna cannot wait for next year.
Both Westley and Charlotte played baseball this year.  And honestly I do not really cannot remember much of what happened.  The season is only a month long with games twice a week.  We coached both teams, which was crazy. Between that and all the extra dance practices preparing for the girls performance the whole month of May is kind of a blur.   All I can remember is Westley had fun and Charlotte, though quite good a baseball, only really liked the treats.
