Both Jenna and Westley participated in a triathlon recently. They had to swim 50 yards, bike 1 mile, and run 1/2 a mile. Westley was slightly slower than last time. He had not been practicing his swimming.
Jenna did awesome! She swam great and was biking pretty well when she had a bad crash near the end of the bike. She was told she did not have to finish and that we could go have the EMTs look at her cuts. But she wanted to finish. She got up and walked the run and finished the race. We were so proud of her. She was so tough; I don’t know if I would have done that.
