Last week we celebrated Charlotte’s birthday by having some cake and presents at home and then taking her to IHOP for dinner where she got her very own kids meal. Charlotte’s cake was her favorite teddy bear. She loves the bear; as soon as she sees it she relaxes.

I do not even remember this part (although I am obviously taking the picture) but I am assuming Ben blew out the candle. (I swear my memory went out the window when I started having kids. Or maybe I never had one to begin with?) 
Yummy that cake was good. And yes, she is our first child to ever really eat her cake. Jenna did not even touch it (she was really sick, granted Char was a little sick too), Westley did not want to touch it at first, but eventually ate some, but Charlotte LOVED it.

When I started reading about the cake I laughed because I remember how against his cake Westley was, then you mentioned him too. Miss ya'll!
OH MY GOSH!! The picture of her sitting next to her cake holding her bear is just precious! She's such a doll. Can't wait to get our little girls together again. Happy Birthday Char
I can hardly believe she is one also. Where did the time go? She is a cutie!
Kerrie, Charlotte is SOOOOO different from the other two; it's crazy, but I love it.
