Okay, so I am mostly posting this because I am quite mad right now. I just wasted an hour of my time dealing with problems with a company. The 2 companies I will never use again are: Altius Health Insurance and Charter Communications. Interesting enough, our problems with both companies came after we cancelled service. GO FIGURE. Anyway, here is my rant about my current problem (feel free to ignore).
We had service with Charter for a couple of years (everything went well). I cancelled our service back in October. When I cancelled the women said everything was cleared, there was no equipment to get, since we bought it from them at the very beginning. Well, since then they have sent out 2 workers to pick up the Internet modem, sent a notice, and sent us on to a collections agency. We have called Charter 3 times about the problem, and the collection agency once. Apparently they have NO record of one of my calls (but I do on my cell bill!). After talking to 2 guys (probably from India) who I could not understand, the supervisor told me it will be taken care of within 2 months! I will be sooooo mad if it is not. I told him I will call back in a month to check on them.
